Night Paving to Close Lanes on NE 134th Street


Work scheduled for three consecutive nights starting at 8 p.m. Monday in Salmon Creek.

Three nights of road repairs and paving are scheduled to begin Monday, Aug. 17, on a half-mile section of NE 134th Street-Tenney Road.

Granite Construction, a contractor working for Clark County Public Works, will make pavement repairs, grind out existing asphalt and repave the road from just south of the NE Tenney Road-139th Street intersection to just west of Interstate 5.

Let the fishing excitement begin! The Klineline Kids Fishing derby has been a popular spring activity in the area, and this year will be no exception!
Kids will fish at assigned times throughout the day with a fishing mentor. Prizes will be awarded for the largest and smallest fish caught at each time slot, and random drawings will be announced for goodie bags, tackle boxes, and bicycles.
