Clark County is committed to keeping our area beautiful, but it can’t be done without all of us! The Adopt-a-Road program has businesses, non-profits, and individuals taking charge of a small area, but making a big difference. This is a great way to help keep our county and community clean!
In the Salmon Creek area, several of the main roads have been adopted, but there are plenty left to be adopted. There are pre-approved roads waiting for adoption, and you can also make a suggestion. Any road that is suggested for the program undergoes a safety evaluation. Most sections are approved.
The program is a two-year commitment with at least three cleanups per year. The section is usually between one and two miles long, and there is a mandatory (and brief) volunteer orientation to attend prior to the first clean up. You will receive a cleanup kit along with safety vests.
