You will think you took a step back in time when you board the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad, complete with “outlaws” attempting the “rob” the travelers. This special “Robbery” will take place on Saturday and Sunday, August 20 and 21, 2016 aboard the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad.
You will board the train for a trip through the forest and a 330-foot long tunnel carved out of rock on its way Yacolt Falls…but then, LOOKOUT! Outlaws ride up on horseback and board the train to steal coins, valuables and a timber payroll! Will the Sheriff make it in time? After the thieves are apprehended, the train continues on its way and stops at Moulton Falls, where travelers can visit with (and have your picture taken with) the good guys, and the bad guys, too.
This trip is fun for kids, and kids at heart. Trains will depart at noon and 2:30, reservations are recommended. Tickets can be purchased online for $20 for adults, $19 for seniors, $15 for ages 5-12, and $13 for ages 2-4. The station is located on NE Railroad Ave, just south of Yacolt Rd.
