FUNdraiser Run to Moulton Falls Winery.
The First Annual Chelatchie Prairie Railroad Wine Run Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2012; with a special stop at Moulton Falls Winery.
Enjoy a ride on a historic diesel powered train through the forests of Clark County, through a 330′ tunnel carved out of solid rock, view the Lewis River from a cliffside vantage point, and enjoy some wine. The train will be stopping at Moulton Falls Winery for an auction and raffle. Wine tasting, food, live music and activities for the children will also be available. There will be a $5 fee for the wine tasting at the winery. For those passengers who prefer not to visit the winery, the train will make its normal stop at Moulton Station so that passengers can visit Yacolt Falls.
Funds raised will be used to support the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad to help restore and maintain the tracks and railroad cars used for the passenger rides.
Trains will depart at Noon and 2:30pm from the train station in Yacolt, WA. Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure to allow sufficient time to pick up your tickets and board the train. Tickets are $15 for adults; $14 for 60+; $10 ages 5-11; $8 ages 2-4 and children under 2 are free. Check out the Chelatchie Prairie website or call 360-686-3559 for additional information.
