First Friday is Full Life

Beer Release Party at Mt Tabor Brewing.

Some things are just better together; like Steak and Eggs, Friday Nights and First Friday Celebrations, Good Times supporting Good Causes, and Coffee and Beer (?). Yes, coffee and beer.

Mt. Tabor Brewing (113 W 9th Street, Vancouver) has something special on tap for this month’s First Friday event: Happy Pint Porter. “The brewery is a great canvas when it comes to supporting the locals who help support us. The Happy Pint Porter takes two of my favorite beverages and melds them into one where beer and coffee are like Ice and Water, or Steak and Eggs- two great tastes that work even better together. We use four different malts and two different hops, and then combine them into one glass. Next we add some carefully roasted coffee and you end up with an extremely drinkable and enjoyable beer that encompasses the good from two very different companies, both of whom are looking to add to the greater good of our communities.”

And, for every pint sold on Friday, March 1, 2013 between 4:00 and 8:00 pm, $2 will be donated to the Full Life Foundation, a non-profit developing vibrant programs that enable people with disabilities to collaborate, create and try new things, develop new skills and build community relationships.

Moreland Print will also be selling limited edition “Happy Pint Porter” shirts for $15, with $10 of every sale going to the Full Life Foundation.
